چکیده
A detailed microstructural analysis during the intermediate stages of fabrication NiTi orthodontic archwire is carried out in this study. These findings were related to phase transformation characteristics such as start and finish temperature, thermal hysteresis, etc. The objective was monitor window different thermomechanical processing. casted alloy further subjected combinations hot cold forging steps with annealing. Four sample conditions prepared. microstructure development these samples studied through electron back-scattered diffraction synchrotron radiation X-ray (SR-XRD) techniques. temperatures determined by differential scanning calorimetric measurements. microstructures showed grain boundary serrations, very large grains austenite, twin-like features within austenite mixed-phase distribution martensite. differences also clear terms local in-grain misorientation fractions. SR-XRD measurements revealed possible precipitation Ni 4 Ti 3 Ti. martensite temperature ( M s ) seen be a function high angle fraction, while f an inverse trend. interval, – stored energy that determines driving force overcome frictional work opposing movement habit plane, largely depends on elastic plates its growth. hysteresis reverse (M ? Influence of ageing treatment on the thermophysical characteristics and mechanical properties of forging wire Ni-rich NiTi alloy for superelastic applications
NiTi alloys used for orthodontic applications need to show superelastic characteristics at room and oral temperatures. The ideal scenario is that where the material has a final austenitic phase transformation value below the room temperature. This study aims at understanding the influence of the ageing treatments in the austenitic structure at room temperature on a wire of a Ni-rich NiTi alloy ...
متن کاملthe effect of e-64 on the developmental competence of sheep cocs during in vitro maturation
in the present study, the effect of e-64 at different concentrations (0.5, 1, 5 and 10 µm) added to (1) the ivm medium on oocyte nuclear maturation and developmental competence of ovine oocytes, and (2) to the ivc medium on embryonic development of ovine embryos were investigated.
Phase Transformation Evolution in NiTi Shape Memory Alloy under Cyclic Nanoindentation Loadings at Dissimilar Rates
Hysteresis energy decreased significantly as nanocrystalline NiTi shape memory alloy was under triangular cyclic nanoindentation loadings at high rate. Jagged curves evidenced discrete stress relaxations. With a large recovery state of maximum deformation in each cycle, this behavior concluded in several nucleation sites of phase transformation in stressed bulk. Additionally, the higher initial...

PHASE TRANSFORMATION DURING WEAR OF AISI STAINLESS STEEL 316
Abstract: Austenitic stainless steels exhibit a low hardness and weak tribological properties. The wear behaviour of austenitic stainless steel AISI 316 was evaluated through the pin on disc tribological method. For investigating the effect of wear on the changes in microstructure and resistance to wear, optical microscopy and scanning electron microscope were used. The hardness of the worn...
